What is a Divemaster?

Divemaster is PADI's first professional-level qualification (there are equivalent levels with SSI or BSAC). It mainly qualifies you to conduct dive tours with certified divers, but it also enables you to assist instructors in teaching the courses you have completed, and to perform various other supervisory roles.
