There are just two simple things to take away from this post:
1). When you are travelling make backups of your photos. Make a backup of your backup and also send a copy home.
2). Mess around with your camera. Learn how to really use it. Take pictures of a tree, your dog or you looking ridiculous. (I did the last one).
I had my external USB hard drive stolen. I’m was really not impressed. Luckily I still had my photos on another drive. I was just sorting out my snaps when I came across the photos below. I was rather bored and had too much time on my hands on my lead up to travelling. To keep myself entertained I messed around with my camera and my muse was my favourite topic of all time; me. They aren’t the most impressive Photoshop works in the world. I’d only just got my first SLR and a copy of Photoshop. Let’s be honest they aren’t exactly travel related either. But hey what do you want from me? I already gave you the two bits of advice a second ago. I’m just dragging this out now…
